Chemeketa pre reqs

I will be starting my pre reqs this coming winter term. My question is, I have a 3 year old, and a 5 year old who will be in kindergarten this coming September. I'm going to be taking 1-2 classes at a time, and I'm wondering about the nursing program itself. Do you have to take a certain number of credits per term if you get into the 'nursing program'? Because I think I would have to wait until the kids are in school full time before I try for that. It scares me, you guys talking about how hard it is to get in!! I'm not good at math. I bought a textbook and I'm going through it and starting to get better, but gosh.. I feel so discouraged when I hear how tough it is. Who has juggled motherhood and completed, or getting close to completion.? I would love to hear from you!

The nursing program itself is a specific number of credits per term. One term may be 11 credits, while another may be 9. The classes are all scheduled for the entire program; there's no way to pick and choose your schedule. Some days class will start at 0800, others you may need to be at a clinical site by 0600. Many people have successfully completed the program as parents, single parents, and even working full-time. Best of luck to you!
