Jan 26, 201610 yr Author School nurse. What kind of setting do you work in? I think most if not all hospitals these days use computer charting!
Jan 26, 201610 yr I do a combination. I chart visits on a google docs sheet on the computer, but chart medications on paper. Health screenings are inputted into our schools computer software program. I am hoping to start using all computer charting next year, but we'll see if it gets set up for me.
Jan 26, 201610 yr Depending on which school I am in. I do both. I very much prefer paper. Yes, I am old., and I don't mind to admit it. Heck, the (youngish) District Secretary asked me the other day, if I wanted to switch to direct deposit of my pay check. My prompt, but kind reply was- "Nope, but thanks for asking" She looked at me like I had 3 heads. Oh well.
Jan 26, 201610 yr Author We are all paper charting, student visits, medications, and health screenings! We probably don't have enough in our "budget" to purchase "fancy" computer charting software. I do a combination. I chart visits on a google docs sheet on the computer, but chart medications on paper. Health screenings are inputted into our schools computer software program. I am hoping to start using all computer charting next year, but we'll see if it gets set up for me.
Jan 26, 201610 yr Computer charting - those I do a quick paper chart through the day and catch up in the computer depending on how busy I am. I use SchoolBrains, but used to use SNAP (and I miss it!). In the previous district I worked in, I used Health Office.
Jan 26, 201610 yr Paper. I am the only person in the Health Center that paper charts. Everyone else gets computer. I'm trying to push for electronic like everyone else.
Jan 26, 201610 yr I use a paper form to jot notes then do computer charting for everything using RealTime.
Do you paper chart or do you have "fancy" Computer charting?
