Charlotte Technical School requiring dental exam

I really am looking into Charlotte Technical Center School. But they require you to have a dental exam. I cant find it right now, but I know I saw it recently. Anyway I know I need major work done (teeth cleaned, pulled etc). I have no idea what the mean though. Do they want you to have a routine exam, will they deny me if I need major work? Im not sure why they would need you to get a dental exam. Any ideas?

Right now we are trying to save money to move within 6-12 months, and I currently dont have dental insurance. But I fought Delta Dental that will cost less than $10.00 a month for me. PLus I'd have to pay any co-pays/procedures whatever the insurance doesnt pay. One way Id like to get the work done now, because if I do it while in school, might hurt to talk to patients/classroom. Opinions??????
