I have completed Basics but due to some unforseen circumstances I had to take some time off. I'm really nervous about starting back in Jan. --not very confident and just stressed in general about passing. I have put so much time and money into this 2nd degree.. I'm sure many people can relate. Any good advice from current students/recent grads? I heard that in the last semester we take an exam (which, I'm told, is harder than the boards) and that if you don't pass you're kicked out of school?! Is this true?

Hey,
I already have a 2003 Business degree from UNO. After my daughter being admitted to Childrens Hospital last year, it hit me that I wanted to go into Nursing. Have you already been admitted to Charity? When you mention January, does this mean you are starting in Januray? If so, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. I am taking the TEAS this month and applying to Charity also this month for the Fall 2010.
You can't imagine how nervous I am about applying. I feel great and positive some days and then others I ask myself "Am I crazy?! what the heck am I doing applying to Nursing School!" I wish I had some more self confidence.
I am soooooooooooooooooo nervous about the TEAS exam. So many people are supporting me and hoping that I get accepted. I can't imagine what I will do if I get denied admission. I will feel horrible and won't be able to look at my family, friends, or husband in the face for a while!
Please be positive about your adventure into Nursing. It is horrible to have self doubt and not be 110% sure of yourself.
Very true what they say, its easier said than done. I'm giving you advice that I myself should be taking. You will do fine
