Charity school of nursing scheduling

Published

Hello all,

I am hoping to be accepted into CSN's Spring 2017 class, and I have a few questions regarding scheduling classes. I'm wondering if I will have a choice whether or not to have class on Saturdays. Do the students choose the own classes?

Hi there! You will be in the classroom 2 days per week for lecture. This semester level one students go on Thursday and Friday. For clinical they have day or evening options which are 2 days a week, 6 hours each or a Saturday 12 hour clinical. They will tell us the registration day and time and basically everyone logs in at the same time and tries to register for the day/times they want. It's good to have at least 3 choices because it happens fast and sometimes you won't get your first choice.

So for example if you choose a Saturday clinical then your schedule could look something like this:

Thursday and Friday 8:00-1:30 (lecture)

Saturday 7am-7pm (Clinical)

If you choose a day clinical then your schedule might look like this:

Tuesday and Wednesday 7am-1pm (Clinical)

Thursday and Friday 8:00-1:30 (Lecture)

Does this all make sense?

Thank you, and yes it does make sense. I guess I'll just hope to not get scheduled for Saturday clinicals.

You will be able to choose for several availabilities. You will manually register so just put in your top 3 choices that are not Saturday's
