Charge nurse looking for a way to help my unit go digital

Right now the way we track our admissions, discharges, assignment sheets, and daily flow includes A LOT of writing and so much paper waste. As a night shift charge after midnight we hand write a map of the entire unit, the admission and discharge list (on a surgical unit which can include 30+ admissions) and track staffing flow by hand through the day. We carry around a clip board full of papers which all get scanned into the computer at the end of the pay period and shredded. I am wanting to make a push for digital tracking and didn’t know if anyone had any success stories for this at their hospital. I was thinking of like a share point site or Google doc where multiple people could update the flow for the day and save it for the regulatory purposes. We also use epic where you can use a unit map. If anyone works at a hospital that tracks these things digitally instead of writing and writing please give me some ideas! (We use epic)
