Chances of getting work in australia after bridging program

Published

Hello! I finished my Bridging Program in College of Nursing last September 2013. I am now working as a theater nurse. Il try to answer any of ur queries regarding the evident real scenario here and acg to my experience. Will get back to you. :)

Hi dicedice,

I have recently been provided with approval to start the bridging course from APHRA. Sorry I am not responding to your question but could you please answer some questions for me?

How was your bridging course and how much was it?

How long did the re-applying take to be approved by APHRA?

Did you have to supply ALL the supporting documents again with your new application?

Thanks

Hey no worries. I'l answer anything i can. I took my bp in Australian College of Nursing last July 2013.. 2 month program. 1 mnth theory and 1 month placement in the hospital. Some of my clasmates though were placed in aged care. It's the only school in Sydney that offers BP. And its d cheapest in d whole Aus too. The same with La Trobe in Melb. It was only 2 months. For 10k..

After graduation, took me two weeks to get the registration from AHPRA. i dnt remember exactly every docs i need to supply to AHPRA for my registration but an additional doc wud be the Grad Certificate from the school or the Letter of Recommendation from the school that you have graduated.

Thanks. :)

Hi dicedice.

I am also interested in that bridging program. Can you tell me the step by step to apply for that? Do I need an agency to facilitate me? And the cost is that 10k dollars.. thank you I hope you respond to this :-)

Do you know if i can bring my husband with me in australia while taking the bridging program? Thanks
