Chamberlain students residing in Ohio

Published

Hello, I had a few questions for Ohio students attending Chamberlain College.

I'm a resident of Dayton and am looking to enter the online Associates (LPN) program. The local colleges around here have waiting lists that are years long and with my 2 young children still at home, online seems to be the way to go. I could ideally be an LPN by the time that other colleges would be calling me off their waiting lists if I enrolled at Chamberlain. But I did have these questions:

1) How often would I have to commute to Columbus (for clinicals, orientations, etc)?

2) Do you know if Chamberlain partners with any other cities in Ohio to complete these requirements? So that I could complete these locally instead of commuting to Columbus?

3) Do Ohio facilities recognize Chamberlain as a reputable institution? Is it hard to find a job with this education?

4) Do Chamberlain credits transfer to other Ohio colleges? I plan on getting my BSN/MSN and I may want to pursue another college for these degrees.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions! Hopefully my questions make sense.
