Chamberlain SON

Is there anyone out there in Texas applying for the MSN/NP tract with Chamberlain this fall? Also any grads out there of the MSN program? Looking for feedback. This program sounds really good. Thanks in advance.

Hi ShannRN. I am applying to start Chamberlain's FNP program to start here on Sept 2nd and have been told I have been accepted and everything is in the works with Financial Aid. However I am now a bit hesitant and looking at other options. The program seems very convenient, the tuition seems reasonable, and the application process has been smooth (perhaps too smooth?) but I am a little bit hesitant about the lack of prestige of the program. In particular, I am wondering about graduating and getting a job using my FNP and if it will be seriously considered when I come back to a university to get my DNP. My passion is in pediatrics as well, and I have found that there is no class specifically for pediatrics, and was told by the admission counselor that it is combined with OB class. That has me a bit worried about being prepared for where I truly want to work, but I want the FNP so that it will me more marketable to a smaller family clinic if needed. Anyways, what are your thoughts on the program?

Also- I'm in Texas as well in the DFW area.

Hi! I'm looking into the online FNP. I was also wondering about that combined women/children clinical. I've seen that in other FNP programs too. Sometimes they're just combined I guess. Keep me posted!
