I was wondering if anyone attending Chamberlain for FNP could tell me what they thought about the program.
I'm debating going to Chamberlain or Frontier. I've heard great things about Frontier but I don't know if I would be accepted because of my undergraduate GPA of 3.05. I've been a nurse for 4 1/2 years and have been in a leadership position for 2 1/2 of those years. I don't know if that would be of any advantage or not.
I have heard from Chamberlain but I'm hesitant because it seems so easy to get in and their FNP program is relatively new. Has anyone heard of the pass rate on boards for the FNP program? Do their credits transfer to other schools if needed? If you are in the program or have graduated from it, what do you think of it?
Sorry for the rambling post but I'm confused with all the options of different schools!
Anybody?

If you're debating between the two, I'd say Frontier. Longer track record, more affordable.
I do caution you about clinicals. you need to be able to get FNP (not ACNP) in family practice settings. If you can't, find a school that arranges clinical sites for you.

Thanks guys! A lot of the online programs I've seen make you set up your own clinicals now and I've heard they can be a hassel!
