I was accepted into Chamberlain College of Nursing, Chicago campus!! Although I am very excited and relieved to reach another step in my change of career process, I am also very nervous. Anyone currently attend the Chicago campus?? How is it? It is super new so I was wondering how many "kinks" need to be worked through. OR has anyone graduated from the Addison campus that is currently a working RN? Any tips, advice, thoughts are appreciated!

I was also just accepted a few weeks ago. Are you starting in Oct? I am nervous too and curious about how many nursing students there will be at Chamberlain for Oct. I'm hoping there won't be many issues since they are new, but so far everything seems pretty organized. I am moving from Michigan and planning to live in Lincoln Park.

Congrats you guys! I am so jealous and happy for you. I currently live in phoenix and just had my app sent to the Chicago campus because my advisor in phoenix never showed my app to the committee and I only applied in June... talk about playing with lives..
Would you guys mind answering a personal question for me, so I know what to expect. What were your scores when you applied? for the hesi and GPA? Are they extremely picky you think? I currently have a 3.1 and an 86 on the hesi..I have a feeling that my scores may be average/border line..
Any words of advice/encouragement would be greatly appreciated,
Jess

Hey, I don't think your scores are that bad. Anyways, I got accepted into the campus at Jacksonville for the march 2011 semester. My GPA was 3.2 and Hesi score was about 86 but I already hold a bachelor's degree.
Hi Jess,
Don't worry, that's about what I had when I applied also. Have you heard back yet?
What day are you going to orientation?
