CGFNS process...

Hi! I'm a little confused about this process. I've read different forums and don't know which is which. I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines and now I'm here in Anchorage, AK so I will need validation of my license from PRC, how long will it take for them to mail the form back to CGFNS? And will I need to pass them my high school diploma? I read a thread about this, there are states that doesn't require it but the link is broken. What if you graduated here in US, will they still need it? Because my husband graduated high school here but we went to the same college and both graduated in Philippines. Also, I read that some US citizen were required to get a letter from PRC stating that you're not eligible for the local board but got a letter saying he is. For validation of license, if you don't have one then you must have an explanation or that letter? My husband is US citizen so he didn't have to take a NLE. And now that I've read those forums. I need clarifications about this. Thank you for the help. :)
