CFCC Nursing PSB 2018

Hey all,

I'm applying to Cape Fear CC ADN program and wanted to know if anyone had tips for what to study on the PSB? I'm most worried about the Science section. Are there any scientific math on the exam? I bought the Mometrix study guide, but am not sure if that's enough to know for the PSB. If anyone has taken the PSB, please share helpful information.

Thanks! and Good luck to everyone!

I took the PSB last year for the LPN program. I got really good scores besides science. I know the RN/LPN PSB are different so I'm not 100% sure. I don't remember doing really hard math on the PSB if any. Study, study, study for science. I took more of the pre nursing courses and am studying hard for the PSB, so hopefully I can get in this year!

Hey!

Thanks for responding. I'm mostly worried about the reading and science portion. There's just so much information for the science portion that I'm not sure I'm studying the right material. I did purchase the Mometrix PSB and the RN Pre-entrance exam book. My PSB is scheduled for Jan 8, so I still have time to study! Good luck to you!

I'm scheduling mine today! I didn't have the reading comprehension on the PN one so that makes me a little nervous. Keep me updated, when I take mine I'll share my scores.

Did you get your scores back for the PSB? I just got mine today. My total point count is 319, I'm really nervous.
