CEU's vs CE's

Featured Replies

I think they're the same thing. I don't know that all CEUs are 10 credits. I have a couple of certificates for CEUs that are for 60 and 75 points.

So Does that mean 60 points = 60 contact hours or is it 6 contact hours?

[i noticed under your name it says Premier member - what does that mean?

  • Author

oops I mean premium member...

Sorry. It says 60 contact hours on my certificate.

Premier member means we pay the site to help keep it running. You get a few benefits in return, which I rarely use because I don't think of it. It's just a nice way to help support such a good place financially, and it's cheap.

Look to the right of the thread and toward the bottom you'll see a link to get info on premier membership. I's in green.

Lol I wrote it wrong too. Premium member.

It's to the middle of the page, not the bottom.

Thanks for the info

You're welcome. 100 hours is a lot to get all at once. Do you need it to take the exam or to maintain your certification?

For the CEN you take the exam and can be recertified by getting (I think these numbers are right) 100 CEUs over the course of two years.

The 100 hours is to maintain my ONC certification, I also need 50 contact hours to take my initial WOC exam. I'm trying to see how far I can stretch myself before I reach heaven:chuckle
