CEUs for CUs, not semester hours for WGU

Considering doing the Western Governors University online RN to BSN, both to get my BSN and satisfy CEUs for license renewal. However, WGU awards "competency units" not semester hours like most schools. The Iowa BON website says 1 semester hour is equal to 15 CEUs, but I don't know how CUs translate to CEUs. I'm hoping to get through it in 6 months (my license is up in November) as I have an unrelated BA already. Anyone have experience with this?
