The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) provides Certificate of Good Standing. This article of mine answers the following questions. How can this be obtained? What are the fees involved and how do you pay? How should this certificate be sent to the requesting organization?

1) The certificate of good standing from SCFHS can be obtained online through the following link (presently, could change in future) found under their E-services List:

Saudi commission for Health Specialities

The link asks you to enter your SCFHS Registration Number, followed by a valid Email address and mobile number. Entering the data, pops up a window where you select the service needed "good standing" and click to confirm. Subsequently, an account number is provided which should be used while making the online payment of SAR 300.

2) SAR 300 is the fee for certificate of good standing. This can be paid through SADAD payments through Alrajhi or Riyadh bank ATMs. The ATM would ask you for the 3-digit code of SCFHS, which is 129 and next you enter the previously provided account number.

You should now receive your certificate in PDF format after 24 hours.

3) Most Nursing Boards demand the certificate of good standing be sent by the SCFHS directly to their address. For this, you hand the certificate to the SCFHS Branch and request them to send it to your desired Nursing Board or Organization. The Courier charges applied should be borne by the candidate.

That's it and you are done.
