Case Manager to NP? Can I get accepted?

Hi all,

I have been a nurse overall for 5 1/2 years. I spent 3 years in acute care, one in a cardiology clinic and now the past 6 months as an RN Case Manager. I just wanted to know if anyone else has successfully applied to an NP program while being a CM. Or should I get back into a clinical role?

Also, I fear my GPA is a problem. My ASN GPA was 3.45 but my BSN was 3.2. I started an MSN program and had a 3.4 GPA. How likely am I to get into NP school? Thanks all!
