Carrington College- LVN to RN

Published

I'm interested in attending Carrington for their LVN to RN program in Sacramento; however, I'm concerned about their class hours

the last time I contacted them (about 8 months ago), they said that their classes are only during the daytime hours. They said they don't currently have any evening classes.

i would like to still keep my job while I attend school but I'm not sure if it's possible if their classes are only during the day time

Anyone attend Carrington? Please let me know your experience and if you would recommend it

Thank you

I have friends that have gone here and none of them were able to work it's a full time program

I contacted them a few days ago and their class times are still the same. The person I spoke to asked me if I completed my prerequisite courses for the RN program, which I have not yet.

she proceeded to tell me that I can go through their VN program, which would satisfy the prerequisites for the LVN to RN program. Huh?!? I told her that I'm already an LVN and I asked her if that program is for people who want to become an LVN and she said its for those who have not completed their prerequisites. It's about $24k to do the VN program. Nooooo way. That sounds so ridiculous to go through their VN program to get my prerequisite courses done when I'm already an LVN.

You don't have to go through their vn program you just take your prerequisites with them if you want but it does not guarantee you admission into their RN program
