HiI am planning to change my career from Finance to Nursing.
Graduated in finance .
Wanting to do a 16mths Accelerated BSN. Is there a better choice of study program if i have to start of with nursing.Would a lay person be able to cope up with no prior knowledge in the field of medicine .
Can any one guide me

Welcome to AllNurses, dan15 :balloons:
A 16-month Accelerated BSN program is "doable" for someone with no prior knowledge or experience in the health sciences, but is unrelentingly rigorous and demands 100% commitment (in other words, you will have no outside life for 16 months). Are you ready for this emotionally? Do you have a good support system in place (both financially and just for moral support)? It is generally not advised to work, when enrolled in an accelerated program. You will need a lot of strength and perseverence to "tough" it out, but it CAN be done. Best wishes to you :)
