Cardiac imaging registered nurse job - what exactly does this type of nurse do?

Published

I'm a new grad RN applying to several jobs. One job I'm unsure about applying for is as a registered nurse in the cardiac imaging dept. It's a full time position, but the job description doesn't really describe the job. Obviously it has to do with cardiac, but what exactly does this type of nurse do? Does cardiac imaging refer to the cath lab?

Specializes in critical care.

I would imagine it was the cath lab or maybe the cardiac stress testing with the nuclear medicine myocardial perfusion studies.
