Canadian RN to US Direct-Entry FNP programs

Has anyone gone from being in a new grad RN program in Ontario, Canada (I.e., graduated, finished NCLEX) then gone into an American Direct-Entry FNP program in September? Were you able to come back to register as an FNP in Ontario after the FNP program?
