Hi there!
I'm a us citizen from NY and completed my post secondary in Canada. The NY board is telling me its average one year wait time for internationally educated nurses. I'm just confused, is it better to do my credentials through CGFNS or have the information sent directly from my school?
Also, because LPN schooling in the US is very different than in Canada, If I applied for my diploma to be considered an ADN, would they notify me of any courses I'm missing for the ADN/RN? And if I'm short a few things and I decide to just stay with the LPN, do I have to send in ANOTHER separate application for LPN?
Thanks!
