I am currently in an ADN program in Sacramento,Ca. The hospital I currently work at as a tech in the OR has changed its policy and now is only hiring BSN degree new grads. I had heard that there was a way to take bsn classes concurrently while in the ADN program? Not sure if this is possible or not. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in Advance.

My school (2 year community college in Tennessee) works with a 4 year university in a dual enrollment program. While you work on your A.A.S. in nursing you are also working on your B.S.N. Basically you will graduate with your B.S.N. one year after graduating with your A.A.S. Check with your advisor to see if your school offers that program too.

I'd say yes you probably could if you're allowed to do so, then why not, right? As long as you're not drowning in your actual nursing classes and up to the challenge of it, go for it.
