Can someone give me info about PVCC's nursing program?

Published

Hello all,

I'm currently living in SoCal, and with how my GPA's quite high and far away from minimum requirements, the chances of me being accepted in any program near me is pretty low. My fallback plan is heading to Charlottesville because my parents and siblings live there. I still have to talk to counselors if my credits will transfer, which I'm hoping it does.

I've been stressed out about getting into any program. And I'm scared that I won't even be able to be accepted in an out-of-state school.

I was wondering, how hard is it to get into PVCC's RN program?

I've already completed Anatomy and Physiology as separate classes, Microbiology as a separate class as well. Anatomy was a B, Physio was an A, Microbiology still in progress, but I'm thinking it's gonna be a B (however, I found out that microbio is already in the program... it's required in the programs in the place I live in)

My sociology is a B, haven't taken college composition yet (wondering if I can get that waived), and I assume I'll get an A in developmental psychology.

I'm assuming I can shoot for an 85+ score on TEAS.

I've been so stressed out about getting into programs recently. I've been talking to so many people for advice to deal with stresses about it, yet it keeps coming up. It isn't much related to the topic of this thread, but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there.
