Can I still go to be an RN, despite having so many useless credits and bad grades?

Published

So when I got out of hs, i was trying to become a PTA. No one told me that withdrawal are still bad . I have quite a bit of withdrawals. I have 4 withdrawal and 3 F total. Despite all of that, I have a 2.8 GPA. I also have a some repeat of classes where I did better the time around. I also have too many credits ?

Despite all this, I have to take my sciences over and the pre-reqs I don’t have . Do you think I’ve already hurt my chances of become an RN.

Yes, you have hurt your chances of being accepted into a reputable nursing school ... but that doesn't mean your situation is hopeless. You'll need to explore the entry requirements of the various nursing schools in your region and find one whose requirements you can meet. Then you will have to buckle down in school and do a good job on any classes that you will taking in the near future to demonstrate that you are ready to be a serious student now.

It's possible, but you will need to change your student behavior and start getting good grades from now on.

Good luck to you. I hope to read that you have been accepted into school someday.
