Are you in LA, meaning Los Angeles?? Why dont you email the program directors of programs in the area that you are interested in? Ask them if there is a CRNA that would be interested in allowing a you (a potential SNRA) to shadow for a day. They love that, and its a great way to touch base with the "big dog" while you are "fresh", think smart, a lot of the application process is the time put into networking!!!
P.S. trust me, i harrassed my program director to let me in!!!!!!

HI, been a member for a while but not a frequent poster but i judiciously scour this site EVERY NIGHT before i go to sleep for new info...
I am applying to CRNA school this summer for 2009, work in the Inland Empire at a large catholic hospital ICU, open heart trained and CCRN certified, about to be IABP trained soon. we dont use CRNAs at our facility, only MDAs and i know there is one i can ask to shadow but the rest dont look too receptive. so i was thinking how grerat it would be to shadow A CRNA instead...so please if u can or are willing let me know i live within 1 hr of LA . I am dedicated, diligent, smart, intelligent, spunky and very very eager to learn, u can even give me homework to do i will do it before i come, so please if u dont mind CAN I SHADOW YOU?
