I think you can get in with a BA. If you pm me, I can email you the name of the person who could answer all of your questions about the accelerated programs. I think they focus mainly on your prereq GPA, too. While it is competitive to get in, I know at least one person who got in under a 3.0. They put a lot of stock into your application essay. There were no interviews this year for EJ's program, so take your time writing the essay, and do your best to get Bs or higher in the prereqs. Good luck!

Can someone please help me if you can?
I am an undergraduate at LSU and I will graduate soon with a BA. I just read somewhere that it is required to have a BS to be admitted to the program. Also, I have a 3.0 cumulative, with potential this year to improve, and I am trying to satisfy the prerequisites for the program as transfer equivalencies at LSU. I am trying to figure out if this is a good idea, or if I have no chance of getting in.
So, must one have a BS to be admitted to the ASN Accelerated Program, or can one have a BA with good grades, etc. and be admitted?
And what kind of grades should people have to be admitted? (3.0, 3.0-3.5, 3.5+)
Do the prerequisite course grades weigh the most in the decision-making?
