I recently took the TEAS V back in March for the 2nd time this year and did much better than when I took it back in January. I went from a basic score to a proficient and I was so proud of myself! I've applied to both LPN and ASN programs but I probably have a better chance at getting into the LPN program since I've obtained all B's and 1 C...B in AP II, PSYC, & ENG and got a C in AP I. I scored a 63.3% on the TEAS and am biting my nails waiting on a response from the school.

It really depends on how competitive the schools are. Your scores are not the best for a Community College, it looks like you have approx. a 2.75 GPA(?), but if you're looking at a for profit you should be fine. Best of luck.
It's for a community college. As far as the GPA...they don't take the overall GPA? From your response it sounds like the 4 pre req's? Yes it averages out to 2.75.
Are those 4 the only classes you've taken? Just because they say they take apps with a certain GPA does not really mean anything. I know the average GPA seems to be 3.6 & above for most programs & high 70's plus on the TEAS V.

You sure can! I made a A in Psych, A in ENG and a C in A&P and scored a proficient on the TEAS V. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think I would get in because my CC is very competitive! I was very surprised when I received my acceptance letter.
If you don't mind me asking what was your score on the TEAS?
I've taken Chemistry and got a B in that...but I know they don't consider that grade but maybe they will maybe they won't! I know for a fact I won't get into the RN program but I think I have a chance at the LPN. What do you think? I'm just a nervous wreck!
It really just depends on their admission criteria, and the competition. There are a few areas that just go by the order in which the apps are recieved, the majority rank. Again, best of luck!
