I'm a pediatric rn in the Boston area. I'm considering relocating to Charlotte NC. I was just wondering what to expect salary wise. I make $35/hr base pay here. How about there? Thanks. rn94 :)

Bayada nursing is a big home health care agency here- they have a pediatric portion that is quite large-the pay ranges from 23/30 per hour

cmc and presby are great hospitals in the area -depending as to whether you are a unit rn -(PICU?oncology) pay will vary-but 32 is the weekender rate.

I relocated to charlotte from albany ny this past october-and the pay is less-but so are the taxes and cost of housing-and no $400 per month heating bills! The people are friendly and the weather beautiful! Presbyterian offers good sign on bonus and relocation reimbursment for a lot of positions.CMC is known for their retention and good moral. Hope this helps!I must say the pace of life here is not as exciting as Boston-but sometimes that is a good thing!LOL
