Hello everyone in the addictions recovery world. I havent been on here lately just busy job searching,working my program,ect. Anyway, I am wondering if there are any NP's who have received a DUI and are still practicing? I have a specific question about prescribing privileges and prior DUI, alcoholism, now in PNAP. I am about to receive a job offer but not sure if my DEA license in PA will be issued secondary to DUI last year:eek:. Yes I am in recovery for alcoholism and doing well. I can provide all the proof of the monitoring program but dont know if that will suffice the DEA? Thanks in advance if anyone reads and responds to this post.
