Hey all!

I'm starting a thread for those of us applying to CSUSM ABSN Summer '25!  I'm working on my application and will be submitting it in the next couple of days. Has anyone submitted and received your evaluation sheet yet?

I have a C for Writing communication and I am interested in retaking it. Do you know any online course that I can take right away? Does English comp from Purdue fulfill this requirement?

I'm not sure if English comp from Purdue is CSU transferable. I would check the CSU transfer agreement on Assist.org and also reach out to a guidance counselor at CSUSM to confirm if they take that class for credit.  Good luck!

Thanks for making this thread! I submitted my application on 10/22. I haven't gotten my evaluation yet because CUSM is still waiting for one of my transcripts but hopefully it will be soon.

Hey! I applied on 10/17 and they are still waiting for one of my transcripts as well!  I will update once I get my evaluation score back.  Good luck to you!!

Hello - Checking in on this. I still haven't received my evaluation and wondering if there are others in my same boat.

Hey! I got my evaluation at the end of November. When did you submit your application?  Also, check the status in your student center and see if it says "Evaluated".  I got my evaluation in my personal email shortly after my status changed to Evaluated.

Does anyone know when they will send acceptance emails? And also with how many points did y'all apply

I think they should be sending acceptances just after Christmas or the first week of January.  My evaluation got 42 points...   How many points did you get?

Hello everyone!

I applied to CSUSM's ABSN program and I'm feeling very anxious as decisions can be sent out this week! After the evaluation, I ended up with 37 points, and from looking at prior stats, it seems that I may be competitive but it just depends on who else is applying.
