Hi there, I will be taking the NCLEX tomorrow (eek!) and I have a job offer pending me passing the test. I have to have my paperwork in by Dec 3rd before my start date otherwise I'll lose the job opportunity. The CA BRN website currently lists a 2-3 week processing time for NCLEX results and this has be nervous, especially with Thanksgiving around the corner which means there's less business days in the week.
How soon have you gotten your NCLEX results? Is it true that you can look up your licensure on the CA BRN license database search -- if so, how soon could I find myself on the database? Does my employer (a hospital) have any ability to "rush" the results due to my start date?
Any advice or stories would be appreciated.

I took my test about a month ago. I was able to look up my name and license #on the BRN website about 48 hours later-the same time the Pearson quick results were in. The actual certificate came about a week and a half later in the mail. My breeze account also changed and said my RN license # about 2 days later. Good luck!

Thank you so much! That’s what I was hoping to hear. I hope my employer will accept me being in the database (and therefore having a license number) and not require some sort of physical paper
