California LVN, I need advice!

I have had my California LVN license now for 3 months. I had it transferred from Indiana where I was originally licensed March 5, 2013. I am desperate to find a job, hoping someone on here could give me some advice. I have no prior medical experience. I am certified to draw blood and am considering any other courses that would help with getting a job. I have a resume that I have been sending out but no bites. I have heard that nursing pools for someone without experience is not a good idea. :( I would love to hear any suggestions. Thank you for taking the time..
