Hello

I was watching the news yesterday, Gov. Jerry Brown announced the new budget cut. WIll this affect nursing program in california. I did research and found that this new budget cut will only affect CSU and UC. but did not mention about community colleges. Hopefully, they don't reduce the number of students accepting to nursing program. if anyone know about this new budget cut please share. thank you

From what I understand some community colleges are now able to enroll more students into the "general" classes. Not nursing specifically. Unsure what's going on with the nursing programs, but I do know that they did reduce the number of accepted applicants. Maybe not all community colleges but I do know some in the Bay Area.

I live in the bay area as well and they have reduced enrollment at the community college level. As for the CSU level, they probably just raise the tuition like they have for the past two years:uhoh3:
