California BRN nightmare

Has anyone ever tried to search for anything negative about the BRN? There is NOTHING online and I know that people have posted and complained. I"m thinking they must screen the internet and have things deleted...there is NOTHING. I just want to say the BRN is a joke and the way they treat the nurses and nurse practitioners is a travesty. If you have anything on your license, it stays on your license FOREVER. Worse than a criminal. MDs do not have nearly the scrutiny we have and they have more power to cause more harm. I was on probation for three years with a $16000 fine for managing and  ordering blood pressure medication for my spouse.  This happened 6 years ago, and by the time all of their processing was done, I am only just off probation. MDs can even order scheduled drugs for their loved ones. Their negative records get sealed, they get patted on the back and sent on their way. Even court cases and law suits are unavailable for the public to view. This will literally be on my license and viewable on Breeze forever. Also, they treated me like a criminal during the entire proceeding. The BRN is a joke. You can't reach them, they take 6 months to get anything done, they are rude, petty, and couldn't care less about us. Yes, I know they are here for the public and not us, but we are under microscopic scrutiny and their punishment certainly does not fit the crime. From the first time I got my license (and waited several months at that!) in 2001, until now, I have never had a good experience with them.  Anyway, I just had to vent....not to mention I am curious if this post will "disappear."
