just wanted to know if anyone out there has ever worked on the calgary family assessment model???? i have a 10 page paper due soon, and i'm having a difficult time understanding what exactly cfam is and when does a nurse use it. is there any websites that gives out good examples???

Oh God. I remember using that in school.......the biggest waste of time ever. I definitely won't be able to help you out any because it was instantly deleted from my mind the second my project was complete. What a waste of paper.

i did not use the calgary family model, but used structural-functional theory for my paper. boy, did i hate that paper.....
but the book i used made it much easier to write and it also covers the calgary model very well:
nursing process: application of conceptual models (paperback, 1995)

i could not have written my paper without this book......

Go to this website and you will find a good power point detailling the CAM. I am working on a project using the model as well. Good luck to you.
