Hi Everyone,

Wanted to see if anyone will be applying to CACC ADN OR LPN for the Fall 2016? I will be applying soon and wanted to know if anyone is already in the program or getting ready to apply? Thank you!!

I am currently at Jeff State finishing up my general studies. I am planning on finishing up my degree at Jeff State but I hear how much harder Jeff State is compared to the other nursing programs around. I know I will be applying to several in the area just in case I don't get into Jeff State but I'm trying to decide if going to CACC or Gadsden State may be in my best interest anyways. Have you heard anything of this nature?

Yes I hear that Jeff State is a much harder nursing school from the rest. I haven't heard from other nursing students at CACC or Gadsden. I started out doing at CACC when I first decided that I wanted to get into Nursing. I am applying all around because Jeff State has a lot of people that apply

So far I'm on track to finish my math and first bio class with A's but haven't attempted the TEAS V test yet. I've received mixed reviews on it. Some did great and others not so much. If I'm not mistaken CACC doesn't require it so I guess that's a plus. Have you taken it? If so, how was it?

Good Morning Drewby,

On the Teas test it is an okay test. If you know all of the subjects well then you should do good. I am brushing up on my Math and Science because I haven't really used it in a long time. I am now finishing up with my Biology 201 class with an A. Yes CACC is now using the ACT test now to apply for nursing. So now I have to study for the ACT and the Teas test. I took the teas back in 2013 but didnt do to well on it. I think I make a mid 60's on it but my goal this year is to make it in the 80's

Yeah.. I'm going to have to take the ACT and the TEAS as well. It seems like a lot of people I've talked to strive to hit at least 80%. Hopefully I will be taking it soon after this semester. Good luck on your testing!

Yes I think its because its a lot of people that try and get into nursing school because it kinda gives them a good chance. I hope I can do it. Thank you and good luck with yours
