CA NP furnishing license

Published

Hello there,

I am looking to move from MI to CA as a new grad FNP. I'm wondering if anyone knows if two separate advanced pharmacology courses (pharm I & pharm I) that are 2 semester units each, would be accepted for the 3 unit requirement? Any input would help! If not, any ideas where to pick up an advanced pharm course in a short time frame?

Thanks!

Should say: pharm I and pharm II

Sure, why not? CA requires a minimum of 3 credits of Advanced Pharmacology course, you have a total of 4. BTW, I endorsed my MI licenses to CA in 2009 and have been in practice here since. Make sure you have a firm job offer before you move, though.

Hi guys

I m in the process of moving to CA. Should I apply for AANP exam in the state I m in now or apply in California in 2 months

Any suggestion please ??

Thanks in advance

That's totally up to you. AANP is a national exam. You will need it to get an NP license in CA.
