C in statistics, is there any hope for me to get into a nursing program?

Published

Hello,

My name is Mimi. I'm a pre nursing student in my third semester at a Community College before I apply for BSN nursing programs. I have one semester left after this fall semester. So far, I have a 3.93 GPA. I've had all A's with the exception of one B in English so far. I am terrible at math and enrolled in and regrettably signed up for an 8 week accelerated Stat course that I have had such a hard time keeping up with so I'm afraid that I will end up with a C. I have a 75 so far and have my final exam this weekend. I've been studying all day yesterday and plan on continuing all day today (I work Thursday and Friday) but I'm still getting practice questions wrong :(. Even if I get an A on the final I'm likely to still end up with a C. I would need a hundred to get an 80% B overall. There is no extra credit or assignment revisions available. So my question is, if I get a C in this course, are my chances for a BSN program accepting me gone? I will still pursue nursing through a 2nd degree program upon graduating with my bachelors if thats what I have to do, but I'd rather not. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Note: I am trying to get into GMU's traditional nursing program which is very selective
