Butte College Spring 2024 RN

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a thread about the prospective students who applied to Butte's Nursing program for Spring of 2024 so I wanted to create this one! I know we have until October 10th to hear back, but I wanted to also have a thread so people can post once they've heard back.

I didn't! I think I misunderstood it because I assumed only people who lived within Butte County could apply. I'm realizing now that living locally probably just gives you extra points and isn't actually a requirement (right?). I also don't think I would've had a competitive application because I don't have any certifications/licenses. Did you apply to the accelerated program?

I am on application #5 and really hope that the accelerated program opened up a lot of spots for traditional RN students. I haven't heard anything yet, but based on the last 4 application cycles, the email should come this week. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is if they send out rejection emails first.

They said they would let us know by October first for the accelerated so it should be today they let us know!

Would it be our school email? Or regular?

SAME I need to separate myself from my phone because the constant checking of my email is getting bad haha

No I think they got the date wrong they probably meant October 2nd because the 1st is a Sunday
