Hi everyone!
I'm new to this... and this website. I am in my mid 20s and just switched majors. I was a Cardiovascular Technology graduate (Echocardiography and EKG) and graduated last summer with my AS degree, but it wasn't the right fit for me, so I decided to switch into nursing, since i've always had a passion for helping people, and I am very dedicated. I've been taking my pre-reqs to transfer to an accelerated BSN program here at a local university (since i've wasted pretty much 5 years for my CVT program), and it would only take 2 years to obtain BSN after I get accepted. However, as of right now, my overall GPA is a 3.0 (i'm basically a B student), although i've gotten A's here and then. I totally flunked my Statistics course (got a D, which brought my GPA down (I had a 3.2 before). I'm planning to take it again during this fall in hopes of getting an A. I was wondering, if I get at least a 3.4ish, can I still get into a competitve nursing school, if I get a very high score on the TEAS test? I'm trying my hardest to get all A's on my pre-reqs, and i'm getting very bummed out since it's so competitive. Sorry if this was so long lol. I would appreciate any feedback.
