BSN program requiring more recent Dev Psych?

This is a bit of a strange/specific question... but I took Dev Psych many years ago when I was pre-med, and would like to re-take it now, but the $#%$& community college I'm taking my pre-reqs at won't let me retake it without some sort of proof that I -need- to. I don't need to. I want to, because the course information is extremely relevant and I'd like to refresh my memory. But unless I come up with some sort of proof that some BSN program somewhere wants me to have taken it within the last 5 years or so, they won't let me enroll.

Which I think is ridiculous. Take my money, let me take the class and we'll both go on our merry ways. Not in my entire BA did I encounter as much red tape as I have trying to take a few classes at the community college level.

So, does anyone know of a BSN program that requires the class within some recent frame of time?
