I'm awaiting for an interview to enter the BSN nursing program this May. That is the last part of the application process before we receive acceptance letters. For those of you who had interviews, what kind of questions can I expect? Thanks

I just had an interview for an ABSN program, but here are some of the questions I was asked:
"What do you know about our program?"
"Why should we ask you to be a part of our program?"
"What are your goals for nursing?" (I thought this was easier to answer than the one I dreaded: Why do you want to be a nurse?"

My interview had a group interview where there was a scenario and we each had to be on different sides of the argument and decide who was at fault, and three one on one interviews, where I was asked about how I chose nursing, and where I wanted to go with it. I was also asked to describe a challenging situation where I felt I had handled it well (or something along those lines). I was asked some situational questions, like if I was the oldest of three siblings and my dad was seriously injured and had to be put in long term care how would we decide who had to pay for it and take care of him. The interview also then had a timed essay. I think It all depends on the school that you're applying to on how extensive it will be and the type of questions they will ask.
