Yes.....

To Onekidneynurse, what steps do i have to make so I can start with the training? Can you recommend any training facility within california? I'm from san diego by the way. You see I'm still studying for my nclex (3rd time now ) and I want to have some training on the field I'm interested in.

You have to get hired in a dialysis unit. Most of them have a 6-8 week, maybe longer orientation. That orientation will be full time though, so maybe not much time to study.
