Hello all! I earned my BS Management Accounting and BS Nursing degree in the Philippines and am new in the area. I wonder if what would be my job options with the degrees I had. Any Nursing related job is my target. To acquaint myself to everything, I welcome the idea of working as volunteer too in a hospital.I am stil working on my NCLEX. I really am clueless as to how i should get started. Working in these areas will be good:Monroe,Everrett, Bellevue, Renton, Seattle, Edmonds, Lynwood,Evergreen , Seattle..
Your advice is highly appreciated! :nuke:

Do you have experience working as a nurse back home? If not you'll be in the same boat as the rest of us new grads and will need to take whatever you can get, and your degrees won't really make much of a difference other than as resume fluffer. Good luck.
I am new to Nursing, just earned my BSN-RN license few years back. I volunteered in a 300 bed capacity hospital and worked as fulltime independent OB-Gyne Staff Nurse but had to resign after two months I got hired because my immigration papers unexpectedly got available early. I am just wondering what job I could possibly get based on my qualification. I just don't have a clue since am totally new in the area/ country. I welcome any sort of nursing related-job, and don't mind if I have to start at the bottom. I want to do things slow to acquaint myself to everything here :nuke: .
I was browsing some posted jobs, Medical Assistant jobs caught my attention, just wondering how the certifications and other requirements are processed.
Thank you for taking time to answer my concerns

Oh no medical assistant jobs here have nothing to do with your nursing degree, it is a different title and schooling altogether. Look for RN job not medical assistant.
Thank you for the advise.. :nuke:
