Well, what campus do you plan on attending. The schedule varies a little from campus to campus. Generally, lectures are M and F from 9-12 but the clinical times vary, as well as pharmacology and the math classes. I'm at north and I can give you the schedule for north if that's where you plan on going.
First semester went like this:
Monday: lecture 9-12, Pharmacology 5-7 (Pharm is all 16 weeks)
Tuesday: clinical (lab days were 7:45-3, hospital days were 6:30-1:30/2)
Wednesday: clinical, same as above
Thursday: Off
Friday: lecture 9-12, Math 1-5 (math was for the first 4 weeks only)
Now we had a choice of math classes, there were 3. Either Thursday 8-12, Thursday 1-5 or Friday 1-5. People had different preferences/commitments. I preferred to have one complete day off, so I picked Friday. From what I can tell, there are still the 3 choices plus an online option (for the math only).
In NP1, we only had 4 days in the hospital. In NP2 I think it was 6, so everything else is a "campus lab" day.
Then entire semester is still 16 weeks, but the nursing classes are broken up into 8 week mini-semesters. Basically, it it follows the schedule for the session 2 and session 4 classes. You'll take NP1 for the first 8 weeks, then NP2 for the last 8 weeks. Math is the first 4 weeks. Pharm runs the entire 16 weeks.
I hope this explained things.

Hello everyone,
I am currently completing my prereqs at Broward College and am hoping to apply to the RN program beginning in January 2011. I have been trying to find out more specific information about the scheduling of courses once you are in the program, but have not had much luck. Apparently I need to make an appointment with an advisor to find out any specifics. I am hoping that someone on here can give me some help. Basically, I am trying to find out the hours and days that our courses, labs, clinicals, etc would be scheduled, so that I can determine whether I would need to take the online program or not (in order to continue working while attending school). I have read a few posts on here that mentioned MTF or MWF schedules.... is that still accurate and if so, what times of the days?
Thanks in advance for any help!
