I know there has been a million of these threads already, but I feel like I need more recent feedback. I am so confused on what to do about where to go. I have been accepted to Nova and will most likely (I hope) be accepted to Broward. I need anyones honest opinion about both programs. I know its going to be hard either way, but I have heard very negative things about Broward. I would love to just go to Nova, but 23,000 a year in just tutition is a little bit much and I dont know how much it is worth it.
Thanks for your help!!

Hi Bongioro89,
I am just 2 days away from finishing my first semester at BC. I have to say it is very hard but it seems you are already aware of that. I too heard horror stories about BC but to be honest its not what they make it seem. As long as you do what your are told and come to lectures and clinicals prepared you will be fine. I notice that people who have problems are the ones that try to do their own thing. I know nothing about Nova so I cant help you there but if you have any questions about BC I'd be more than happy to answer them.

Thank you very much for replying to my post and Congrats on graduating soon :clpty:!! What campus did you attend for the program and do you have any tips you wish you knew before hand? I was also wondering if you had to retake any classes or know a lot of people who have. Thats the main thing I am worried about. I keep hearing how many people have had to retake classes and how rude the teachers are.
I'm at South. I did not have to retake anything but I know a lot of people who have had to and are going to have to re-track and be behind but you cant focus on that. Yes 50% of people don't pass the first semester but again don't pay attention to that. You just stay focused and do what you have to do and you will be ok. Some of the teachers may be a little sterner than others but its only because they want to make sure you know what you are doing. I guess tips I could give you is make sure you practice your math, that seems to get a lot of people and get the fundamentals success and test success books. I got them before I started and read them over before I began the program. They helped me a bit but they become much more helpful after you start because at first you don't really know what you are looking at. Main tip is just know that you have to work hard and that you will be studying 12 hours every day for the first 12 weeks or so then it gets better after that. Don't take it lightly and think the program is like an A & P class, it isn't! The critical thinking thing gets a lot of people...but if you put in the time you will be just fine. Some of the people who have failed out have admitted that they didn't take it as seriously as they should have. Anything else just ask. Oh and get a planner and stay organized...that really helped me =)
Thanks again I appreciate your help!I am definitely going to try looking over stuff before I start. Im just so worried about the classes being 8 weeks :-/, at Nova they are 16 weeks. I will most likely be going to Central campus if i go to Broward, but I guess I will have to figure out what to do.
