Brenau University. Not sure what to do

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi! I'm about to finish my pre-nursing courses and ready to start the BSN nursing program next year. I have applied for two schools. My plan A school (Piedmont College) wont let me know until Jan if I was accepted or not, but the other school I applied for (my plan C), which is Brenau University is already sending me stuff to apply for the nursing program, they even offer me a scholarship of $5000 because of my grades. But I'm not sure about that school. It's passing rates in the license test are really low. They even have red numbers in the Georgia board of nursing website. I also heard from people that they could loose their accreditation because of the low passing rates. However, the school I have to wait until Jan has 100% passing rate. I don't feel like applying to a nursing school with a bad reputation. I'm thinking about telling them to cancel my application, but I'm not sure. I still haven't applied for the plan B school (UNG). It's a good school, but 1 hr away from home. I would like to have Brenau Univ. as my very last option if things don't go as planned with my plan A and B schools.
