Yes that would be me! I was just wanting to seek the advice and counsel of the vast nursing community ((YOU)brilliant nurses out there)) since you have all been their and done that. When i say i am brand new that means i have nothing! And was curious to the best way and route to go to becoming an RN then getting my bachelors and finally moving on to anesthesia. i have just registered for school and am being a little diverse in my studies, since it is my first year in school. So if anyone would be so very kind to advise me.
Thank you so very much i appreciate it immensely!!! :kiss

I'm just starting my research into beginning a career as a nurse anesthesist. What makes you think you need a bachelor's?
I was under the impression, from my anesthesiologist brother-in-law that a 2-yr associate degree, and 1yr ICU work would prepare one for the 2-yr nurse anesthesist program.

Where I am, the anethetist programs are considered a masters level, so a bachelor's IS required. However, it does not have to be in nursing.

indeed. I have a Masters in another field, so I guess we skipped over that requirement. Thank you for your response, and good luck.
