Just submitted my application today -- I took the GRE 9/24 and they say it takes 10-15 days for scores to be submitted, so I think we'll be just fine :)
My biggest worry is the astronomical housing prices in Boston -- if I go to one of the more rural schools I'm applying to it's not even a contest. In Boston it's $1500 a month for one room in a large shared house, compared to $800 for my very own 2 bedroom apartment. Can't really see how I could justify it......
I applied today to BC for 2023 CRNA. Im feeling pretty anxious as this is my first application process. Stats are: 1.5 years cvicu experience, all the while taking everything straight from the OR except for transplants (we don't do them at our level 1- we send to Brigham). PCCN, CCRN, Certified Sedation RN, cauti champion, new grad nurse mentor, personal outside nonprofit work in Kenya, Africa. IABP, LVAD, CVVH, 2nding ecmos in our nurse driven ecmo program.
I had a 3.45 GPA in undergrad with obviously a nursing major but also a major in public health and a concentration in global studies. Does anyone have any advice on standing out more and being successful in the interview process? Like I said anxious but excited as its my first application year. Im excited to potentially meet some of you!
